Internet Article Marketing - Tips For An Effective Campaign

by James Comer

One of the best and most popular ways to promote your website is by writing articles. This is not only easy, but free. You may wonder why your article isn’t getting published or passed around. No one is probably reading it. Before you encourage people to pass it around, you need to encourage people to read your article.

When you wrote it, you wanted your article to be read. If no one reads it, it basically means that it isn’t going to be published or passed around at all, either. You spent the time it took to write your article, so I’m sure you would like it to be read. Don’t waste your time if you only want it to be rejected. There are many articles written about the same topic as you’ve chosen. Take the time to do it right and make yours visible among the others. How are you going to do this?

Some web articles are read but, regrettably, most are not. This is because you are not being creative enough to explore the world of article writing. Bring your article to life. To improve your article, here are some ways to make people actually read your article. You’ve come this far with me, right?

1. Most important is to make your subject about something that is interesting to you. Write your articles differently. It’s likely that there are lots of articles written about your same subject on the interenet. Possibly you have even seen articles talking about the same aspect that you want to talk about. You may even have used some of them for your own research. If you are knowledgeable about your subject, you’ll be one step ahead. Try approaching your subject in this manner. Add some humor, ask a few questions that you think most people would be curious about, but that most other articles don’t ask them. Then answer the questions in your article. This makes your article much more interesting to read.

2. Be sure to make your headline “catchy”. Headlines that are catchy are some of the most- if not THE most important features of your article. Your article will get included on the list of article directories. Usually your headline is displayed with a little snippet underneath it. An effective headline is designed to capture the attention of the people browsing the article directory. This is why it should have some or the most popular keywords in the headline that are related to your subject. It matters not how interesting and informative your article is if it doesn’t capture the reader’s attention. Some people will judge an article just by skimming the headlines. If your headline doesn’t grab their attention, you’ve lost them before you even started.

3. A good introduction should also be considered. This is where people will begin reading your article. It should also be catchy. Try considering asking a burning question for an introduction. This would certainly catch people’s attention. Asking question can also make it easier for you to make an article. It usually develops from one question to another

4. Ease Of Reading

5. Try To Make Your Article A Bit Humorous. You Need Your Readers To Believe That You Know What You Are Talking About

6. Don’t turn it into a sales pitch. Bear in mind that you are trying to give information, not sell. By turning it into a sales pitch you be as annoying as the salesman knocking on the door during breakfast.

7. And lastly, never forget to include your name, business name, and website URL in your resource box. This is the most common mistake article writers do.

Search Engine Marketing No Comments »
by Rosie Cottis

Do you want to increase search engine traffic to your web site? Leaving comments on relevant blogs is a great way to do it!

One of the quickest and most effective ways to bring more traffic to any site, commenting on blogs builds links that some of the search engines will follow. At the same time your link will be clicked on by many real human visitors who are reading the blog and see your comment.

Plus, if you do this the right way, the traffic that your site receives will be highly targeted. That means that the visitors will be people who are honestly interested in what you have to offer on your site.

But wait - don’t go rushing off to hunt down blogs just yet! I can get you free software that will save you a lot of research time. And your time is valuable! Plus you will find a lot more blogs this way than you would by yourself.

Then you can use the time that you saved to leave lots more comments on lots more blogs, attracting lots more visitors to your site! Cool, huh?

Right now, Portal Feeder are giving away a FREE tool called Comment Kahuna that searches the internet for blogs on the same subject as your site. That means that the people who visit those blogs will be interested in visiting your site too.

Plus it puts the blogs in order by page rank, which is an indicator of the traffic that the blog is likely to get. This means you don’t go wasting your time on low ranking blogs that nobody ever visits.

All you need to do is leave a comment with a link to your site, so that people can click through.

Your site can be about anything. This tool will find blogs on practically any subject that you could imagine.

I don’t think there is a subject so obscure that there would not be a blog on the same topic. But if that happens, no problem, just widen your search terms a little bit.

For example, if your site is about training pedigree siamese cats to walk backwards on a leash, there might not be a lot of blogs about that exact topic. But if you look for blogs about siamese cats, you will find tons! And some of the visitors to those sites will be interested in teaching their cat to walk backwards, so they are perfect targeted visitors for your site.

Niche Affiliate Marketing - The Best Way to Get Started

Affiliate Marketing No Comments »
by Ginger Coleen

When you finally make the decision to work from home over the Internet, you’re going to be bombarded with all sorts of terms for different kinds of marketing. One of the most profitable is niche affiliate marketing.

Niche affiliate marketing is the greatest way to get started online and one of the quickest and easiest things you can do. Let me show you why.

If you don’t already know what affiliate marketing is, well type that term into any search engine and you’ll find lots of answers. Affiliate marketing is simply selling somebody else’s products and getting paid for each sale. Some affiliate programs pay a fee for each click to their website from your link or banner.

Niche affiliate marketing is simply targeting a specific affiliate niche or target market. In other words, you might be interested in sports, but that’s a really large niche. You would be better to look for a niche market a bit more specific like tennis or golf.

When choosing a target or niche market, you need to strike a happy medium. If you get into too small of a niche, you might find there isn’t much to market. For example, if your niche were golf tees, rather than golf in general, you might be limiting your topics and affiliate choices too narrowly.

It might be better to choose the entire golf niche. That way you can sell information about golf courses, golf balls, golf tees, and even target specific golfer products — like Tiger Woods products. By the way, it is, in fact, a very popular niche to be in but be careful, there is also a lot of competition.

When the Internet was new and we were just learning to market online, each one of us had to create everything from scratch. We had to figure out what the best keywords were, how to use them and then design and build a website, create the graphics, and find the traffic. Geez, traffic is a whole major niche of its own and I don’t mean the freeway kind!

Things have changed a lot over the last few years since I started online. Today, you can buy packages for niche affiliate marketing that contain prewritten niche websites with all the graphics included. All you have to do is load them up to a web host and drive the traffic to them.

Some of these packages contain prewritten articles and bonus packages to entice your prospects into signing up for a list and purchasing your products. A word of caution though, be careful when choosing these packages.

The amazing thing to me is that you really don’t have to pay a lot for these packages and some of them even include training to teach you how to make money with them. Well, think about it, the marketer who created the package stands to gain from you when you promote it, so the training is in his or her best interest.

I highly recommend that when you’re starting out, it will help you a great deal to find a package that includes training. Some have very high price tags but those prices don’t really ensure you’re getting a quality product.

Because of the competitive market today, the prices have gone down while still retaining a great deal of quality.

So, find a good product that includes a web design you can put up quickly and good training to teach you how to bring traffic to the site. Then, if you like, you can build a small niche affiliate marketing empire around it.

Just do it once and repeat and repeat and repeat. And, over time, your profits will grow and grow and grow. You get the picture!
